As the largest organization focused exclusively on English language teaching for speakers of other languages, TESOL annually hosts more than 6,500 people from across the United States and around the world at the international convention. Educators at all levels attend to find a productive exchange of ideas and information and to feel the embrace of a dynamic professional community.

TESOL and First Book Team Up to Provide Books to Philadelphia Kids
TESOL International Association and First Book are joining forces to put more high-quality books into the hands of the children in need throughout the United States and Canada.

Through this partnership, TESOL and First Book will work together to connect thousands of educators to new books for the students they serve.

In addition, during the upcoming TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo in Philadelphia, attendees and exhibitors will have the opportunity to donate to help bring up to 4,000 new, high-quality books to children in need throughout Philadelphia.

Exhibiting companies present and demonstrate their latest products, research, and services in these 45 minute sessions on the exhibit hall floor.

Advocacy Sessions
What are the education priorities of the President Obama’s administration and the 112th Congress? What is happening with No Child Left Behind and the Workforce Investment.

 

Hotel Reservations 
The deadline has passed to be guaranteed hotel reservations at the special TESOL rates. However, you may contact the hotels directly to check on rates and availability.  In addition, there are a number of other hotels in the area that may availability.

 

Visit the English Language Expo, Win Fantastic Prizes.
Win an Apple iPad, an Amazon Kindle, or a video flip camera just by visiting the exhibit hall. Take your special ticket from your registration materials and bring it to the TESOL membership booth in the exhibit hall. Then be present at 3:30 pm on Thursday or Friday, or at 1:00 pm on Saturday when the winners will be chosen. One prize each day and you must be present to win.
